Equally at home cruising in town as it is rolling along an unpaved road in search of the next scenic vista, the V-STROM 250SX caters to riders who want their motorcycle to be able to take them down many different kinds of roads, and look good while doing it. A rider-focused feature set adds convenience and comfort to an already eye-catching and tough machine.
Powered by a 249cc single cylinder, the V-STROM 250SX is LAMS approved and performant enough for new and old riders alike. In hot conditions, or in city riding where low speeds keep the airflow down, the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) keeps the engine cool and happy.
The V-STROM 250SX inherits the “beak” and DNA of the legendary DR-Z desert racer and DR-BIG production line which marks it as part of the whole V-STROM family.
Sporty styling give it persence on-road too; making it just as suited to riding among the city streets and urban jungles, as it is out in nature on the winding road.
The short style, dual-exit muffler and separate seat give the V-STROM 250SX a sporty look that riders will wants to be seen on.
The nimble, slim designed chassis and light weight of 167kg wet makes the 250SX simple to manoeuvre, and accessible for riders of all sizes.
A 19” front rim and 17” rear follows a similar design philosophy to the bigger V-STROM cousins. The 19” front wheel and ample ground clearance add a sense of stability to riding on unpaved, flat dirt roads.
Bringing the 250SX to a halt are 310mm front and 240mm rear drilled discs, matched to a dual-channel ABS.
The footpegs are covered in a thick rubber to reduce vibration, lessening fatigue on long rides and unpaved roads. The rider and passenger seats are textured for a sturdy grip, and have ample cushioning for longer rides.
A set of factory installed hand guards help to reduce the effect wind, rain, and small rocks have on riders hands. Finally, a high windscreen offers exceptional wind protection in spite of its compact size.
The V-STROM 250SX is ideal for two-up riding and touring. A 6kg load-rated rear carrier is equipped with four hooks, and a solid grab bar wraps around the rear seat to each side of the pillion passenger.
